Our mission
The mission of the South Cariboo Weavers, Spinners and Fibre Artists Guild is to provide support and inspiration to it's members and to share information through formal and informal activities. Excellence in design and creation of fibre arts is promoted.
Our Community
As our name suggest, we cover more than just spinning and weaving. All fibre arts are embraced by our guild members. Knitting, bobbin lace, embroidery, crochet, felting, tatting, naal binding and more. Our members encourage each other to learn new fibre techniques and project days are a time for learning
Courses and Workshops
We hold various workshops and classes throughout the year and invite artists from other guilds to come and teach their skills to our local community. We also advertise workshops that are available in other areas, hosted by other guilds.
